De 3 store på 2000-tallet! Engelske midtbanespillere!

Helt siden jeg begynte å interressere meg for fotball så har jeg alltid synes at England har hatt noen jævli gode midtbanespillere. På 2000 tallet er det særlig 3 stykker jeg mener utmerker seg. Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard og Paul Scholes. Der er selvfølgelig flere som er verdt å nevne, men jeg mener at disse 3 utmerker seg ekstra i denne tidsepoken.
Nå som Steven Gerrard har annonsert sin avskjed fra Liverpool etter inneværende sesong og reiser til "pensjonist tilværelsen " i USA, Paul Scholes allerede har vært pensjonist en stund, mens Lampard også er på lånt tid i England, så hadde det vært arti med en liten poll for å finne ut hvem som var best av disse!

Scholes skiller seg relativt greit ut. Andre og tredje er meir vrient, men eg trur eg velgjer Lampard som nummer to.

Svaret er naturligvis Paul Scholes, og det sier jeg ikke fordi jeg er United-fan. Han er den mest naturlig begava spilleren jeg har sett i Premier League, og var en av Uniteds aller viktigste spillere fra 94 til han la opp første gang.

Av Lampard og Gerrard velger jeg Gerrard, fordi han hadde et høyere toppnivå og hadde to-tre sesonger hvor han nok var topp 10 av spillere i Europa.

Enig. Lampard og Gerrard(i den rekkefølgen) er gode som i at de er normale fotballspillere som bare er ekstra gode i det meste. Scholes driver med en annen idrett.

Åpenbart subjektivt uansett. Tall hjelper ikke så mye når de har spilt for forskjellige lag uansett.

Scholes er vel best, men jeg har alltid hatt sansen for Frank Lampard. Mest fordi jeg syntes det er artig med sønna til folk jeg har fotballkort av. Det er en småsær greie jeg har...
