Finally the tickets for our second METAL ASSAULT FESTIVAL are available. Here is all info:
The reformed SANCTUARY will play exclusively their very first German show since almost 22 years at METAL ASSAULT. The band with NEVERMORE singer Warrel Dane wrote metal history with their two classic albums âRefuge Deniedâ and âInto The Mirror Blackâ. They played their last German show on the fantastic 1990 tour with Fates Warning and Secrecy. Now the band is back in almost original line up (Brad Hull replaces Sean Blosl) and will their first German show since 22 years at METAL ASSAULT.
US Metal legend HEIR APPARENT will play in their original âGraceful Inheritanceâ Line Up. The band is having their 25th anniversary and will celebrate that at METAL ASSAULT festival

DARK FOREST (UK)
British Newcomers DARK FOREST just released their second album via Cruz Del Sur Records and get storming reviews everywhere. If you are into great guitar harmonies and powerful vocals you should not miss them.
ASGARD (ITA)
ASGARD are something like the Italian AGENT STEEL. Amazing Speed Metal with fantastic high pitched vocals like young Cyriis. After their great performance on Swordbrothers festival earlier this year it was only a question of time for them to return to Germany.

Hmmmm.....kjenner eg godt etter har eg nok litt lyst pÄ tur ja. Men det er vel egentlig kun Sanctuary eg ikkje har sett av dei eg vil sjÄ sÄ det spÞrs om det blir. Hadde eg vore garantert eit Sanctuary i storform skulle eg virkelig ha vurdert det.

It is with extreme regret and disappointment that I must cancel the Heir Apparent reunion trip scheduled for January 2012. Circumstances beyond our control have forced this decision to be made now so as to allow the best possible recovery of the events scheduled to continue on without us.

It is with heavy heart that I must announce that due to circumstances beyond my control, I have to step down as vocalist for Heir Apparent... Life has thrown me some curveballs (I've swung and missed at too many to count) and I have to focus on them for the moment. My sincere apologies to the members of HA, to the promoters and press who have continued to support us, and especially to the fans that make have taken interest in my involvement. You will not be forgotten. I will continue to train as time allows, and I will not give up on my career... I will not go quietly into the night. Whether it's HA, or another project, I WILL be back... As many have heard, Paul Davidson is unable to obtain a Passport to travel abroad. Paul will be replaced by Bryan Hagan for the upcoming concerts in January 2012. This is a bit of deja vu for me... Bryan performed numerous shows with Heir Apparent throughout the Puget Sound region during the heyday of SMO (Seattle Metal Online) back in 2002 and 2003, replacing Paul after his first attempted return to the band in 2001. We wish Paul the best of luck.
