Etter As the Shadows Rise var det slutt på moroa og Vegard startet sitt "la oss ødelegge Emperor" prosjekt, noe som gav frukt på tredje fullengderen da overgangen fra "bra" til "ræv" var komplett.

Det skar seg allerede på ITNE for min del, pga arrangementene/synthen. Det er kun Emperor, As the Shadows Rise (som er spilt inn sammen med Emperor, men ble gitt ut først etter ITNE) og demoen som er fullgode og helhetlige Black Metal-utgivelser i min bok. Resten er usinister heismuzak og/eller pretensiøse pinligheter (dog med enkelte lyspunkter nå og da - noen brukbare riff hist og her og noen ok coverlåter).
j****g flinke folk, men hovedsaklig innmari pinlig musikk.
