Tri-Function Million and .U.T.

Records Of The Fleshgod and Where Frost Reign release December 1st 2016 a self-titled split album with - Tri-Function Million (TFM) and .U.T – two unique voices from the Norwegian Capitol Oslo’s rap underground. The album will from announced date be available on 12 inch LP vinyl as well as assorted digital formats; with art and visual design by artist S.F.S.

Tri-Function Million:
Rap collective TFM returns with a dystopic sci-fi epos accompanied by: Weighty breakbeats, dirty samples and saturated analogue synths – all processed via an arsenal of effect pedals.
TFM’s lyrics inhabit a narrative and literary structure that is multi-faceted and complex. Drawing on a series of fragmentary incidents and momentary snapshots from several epochs; TFM assemble a coded sulfur tale of our history, present and future – a mythological and industrialized space and time – wherein the individual exhumes itself from the matter’s rotting body in a torrent of missiles.
This is the sound of the underground’s worldview and asphalt grey situation report anno 2016: Our strive for eminence, power and control, David versus Goliath; once self and the unknown – the hunt for dogs within sewers to utilize their blood as sustenance.
The new split with .U.T. is TFM’s follow-up release to their 2009 full-length “Sprukket Jord”.

.U.T.:
Merciless antagonistic verses delivered with hateful intensity and impure rawness over; classic boom-bap beats with progressive development in loops and monolithic, serrated guitar riffs.
This is .U.T.’s first and last official solo release: Three cuts written between 2004-2006; developed in cooperation with producer Kyber. The material has circulated the underground hitherto, but is now compiled and reissued for the first time in long-awaited physical – and digital formats. The vinyl edition includes an exclusive forth bonus track.
.U.T. debuts posthumously on Records Of The Fleshgod and Where Frost Reign with a nihilistic sci-fi trilogy. The musical expression fusion the brutal spirit of ‘90s anti-christ black metal – with the era’s hard and intransigent hip hop. The synthesis is e.g. revealed in: .U.T.’s distinctive BM-influenced aloof rap; toasty and firm sample-heavy beats with bounce; to lyrics re civilization destruction, insular hate for church and humanity – or epic fog sagas, where we as species equal an erroneous experiment created by an unidentified maker.

All compositions are written and produced by: Tri-Function Million, .U.T. and Kyber. Mixed and mastered at Temple Of The Fleshgod, 2015 - 2016.
