Det ser ut til at Leviathan kommer til å oppstå fra graven igjen. Wrest er visstnok i gang med å lage ny skive. Om det blir i form av Lurker Of Chalice er uvisst, men kan absolutt bli spennende dette. Regner med han har fått faenskapelig inspirasjon etter oppholdet i en av USAs desidert verste fengsel.

I think he’s got enough friends around him with enough money that he’s going to have the lawyers to get out of the mess that he’s in. And the fact that the woman pressing the charges has ten different cases on file of dropping rape charges against boyfriends is going to get him scott free if he has the right lawyer. You can be certain that his friends in Chicago and San Francisco and Oakland have been working together and communicating with one another to ensure that we have the money to help him out. Jeff is a good enough dude, despite his many faults, that we know we’ll get it back from him in one way or another. He’s family. He will not rot in jail if we do anything about it because he did not do that. I know because I saw them together and I watched what she did. And that’s all I have to say about that. He is my brother. I have known him for eight years and he did not do that. I know that for a fact.

"Massive Conspiracy..." var vel hans siste skive på Moribund om jeg ikke tar helt feil. Håper han finner formen igjen, for splitten med Acherantos var heller sørgelig.

hmm, tror aldri jeg sjekket ut den, men det er vel like greit. Er vel dessverre ingen mulighet for at han fikk med seg noen synth inn i fengsel, kunne jo blitt tidenes darkwave!

Now here is a real reason to get excited about the fall. Profound Lore Records have announced that they will be releasing the latest and greatest from cursed USBM enigma LEVIATHAN on November 8th. The album has been titled ‘True Traitor True Whore’ and will be the first release from the reactivated act since 2008′s ‘Massive Conspiracy Against All Life’. Much speculation was spreading throughout the underground as to whether or not we would ever see another LEVIATHAN record since Wrest (Jef Whitehead) had announced the band was finished after ‘Massive Conspiracy’ and then faced a terrible legal situation earlier this year.

For those unaware, Whitehead was arrested back in January and accused of sexual assault and battery against his then girlfriend. According to a report from the Chicago Sun-Times, Whitehead allegedly strangled the woman and sexually assaulted her with tattoo tools. Since then, questions regarding the woman’s credibility have been raised leading many to believe that Whitehead is innocent.

Whitehead’s friend and often collaborator BLAKE JUDD (NACHTMYSTIUM, TWILIGHT) was quoted in an interview with No Clean Singing as saying, “[It is] total bullshit. He didn’t do that. From a personal perspective, I have also met Wrest on multiple occasions and I do not believe he did the things that he has been accused of. I also believe that he is one of the most important artists in the American black metal underground and I am highly anticipating ‘True Traitor True Whore’. The record was recorded with iconic Chicago metal leader Sanford Parker and we will most definitely keep you updated on everything that is announced regarding LEVIATHAN.

"Her Circle Is The Noose". Deilig å høre nytt Leviathan-materiale igjen. Produksjonsmessig har han steppa betraktelig opp fra søpletrommelyden til garasjelyd. Me likes. Litt kjedelig, men dette ser jeg veldig fram til.

Nå har jeg ikke hørt alt av bandet, så har vel egentlig fint lite å uttale meg om. Men.. Velger å uttale meg litt likevel.
Av det jeg har hørt har Tentacles of Whorror vært det beste. Den skiva er knall som f**n.
