Et av mine favoritt B-death-metal-band fra det glade 90-tall har gjenoppstått og utgitt en drøy samleboks på Dark Descent Records, med alt de har gitt ut, samt noen nye låter og en DVD. Jeg har ikke bestilt boksen ennå, i håp om at noen her i landet tar den inn (hehe??????!!!!). Ganske fet, den nye låta som ligger ute, au! Blir gildt å se dem på MDF.

Yeah, virker ikke som om de gidder å trykke opp demoene og slikt på vinyl. Like greit, da det bare er tungvint og unødvendig. Et bokssett med alle de offisielle utgivelsene på vinyl og demoene på tape, derimot, det hadde gjort seg! Skal uansett ha CD-versjonen. Morpheus Descends er et CD-band for meg. Rart med det.

The Crypt and Dark Descent Records are proud to announce a pact with one of New York's finest, Morpheus Descends. Formed in 1990 under the Morpheus moniker, Morpheus Descends was well known for its vicious death metal attack. Most of the band's back catalog is highly priced and very difficult to find, so it is with our pleasure that we are able to bring this material to the darkness once more! All audio for these releases was transferred from the original analog masters for optimal sound.

The Debut album from MORPHEUS (DESCENDS). This long overdue release will be presented as a 12" LP in a sturdy 350 gram jacket featuring the original artwork and layout as well as a printed insert with lyrics and unpublished band photos. Additionally 5 unreleased bonus tracks will be included. Artwork supplied by legendary gore comic book artist "Jim Sommerville". "Adipocere" contains tracks from the band's first demo "Accelerated Decrepitude".


200 LPs will be on black vinyl and 200 LPs on White vinyl.

Formed in 1990 under the Morpheus moniker, Morpheus Descends was well known for its vicious death metal attack. Most of the band's back catalog is highly priced and very difficult to find, so it is with our pleasure that we are able to bring this material to the darkness once more! All audio for these releases was transferred from the original analog masters for optimal sound.

The Debut album from MORPHEUS DESCENDS. For the first time on vinyl, This long overdue release will be presented in a sturdy 350 gram gatefold jacket featuring the original artwork and layout complete with with lyrics and liner notes.The cover artwork for "Ritual of Infinity" was painted by noted underground and surrealist Brad Moore who went on to do hundreds of horror comic books, museum designs, tile murals, film and commercial work, an exhibit with master H.R.Giger.

The sample in "Proclaimed Creator" is from the movie "Bride of Re-Animator".

200 LPs will be on black vinyl and 200 LPs on Royal Blue vinyl.
